Spectacular new material at the PSA Breakbulk Terminal in Antwerp. PSA takes a new Mantsinen 300M gantry crane into operation, the largest of its kind. That produces impressive images.
Don't just say 'crane' to a Mantsinen 300 M. It is the largest mobile hydraulic crane in the world, with a lifting capacity of 85 tons. The beast arrived last week at the PSA Breakbulk Terminal in the port of Antwerp. PSA worked together with Cuypers Vorkliften for this. The arrival of the crane was imaged by Sky Vision.
The new crane will mainly be used on deepsea bulk carriers, for the handling of steel and general cargo. Despite the turbulent breakbulk climate, there is still room for investment in the handling of these cargo types.
